Lost

Not only is the excellent ABC show called Lost because the characters are completely lost in the middle of nowhere on a weird island with polar bears and smoke monsters, but because by the end of an episode, the viewer will be feeling nothing but completely lost.

I have no idea what's going on. I watch it every week, I try Wikipedia-ing it afterwards to get a better understanding and still? Not a clue. Just when you think you understand - bam. They throw another spanner in the works.

I'm the same with Heroes to be honest. Don't know what's happening there either.

Good job I only watch them for the hot man aspect. Sawyer and Peter Petrelli make my week, they really do.

An Ode to The Hot English Tutor

Written a year ago, for my old Hot English Tutor.

O, Hot English Tutor-
You are really rather beautiful
You have a nice arse
And your t-shirts are quite cool
You make me love Beowulf
And even Jane Eyre
And when you walk in the room
I just sit and stare
But alas! our time has come to an end
Now English class is over,
No longer can I oggle
When you write on the board bent over.
You look rather like a footballer
Something I don't normally favour,
But Hot English Tutor, you are wonderful
More wonderful than... Quavers?
Your English classes have had
Such a great impact on me,
That I am writing for you a poem
In verse that is wild and free.
I think now the time has come
For me to end my rhyme.
But, here - you are GORGEOUS mate!
See you around some time.

Sunshine!

It is absolutely glorious in Scotland today, so I've been sitting in my back garden in a bikini top and shorts, reading through Le Gone du Chaaba to refresh my brain before I do some serious note-taking.

Yes, a bikini in May. I'm Scottish. It's my God-given right to get excited by the slightest glimmer of sunshine and lose all clothing as soon as a bit of warmth touches my skin.

However, being Scottish does also mean that I'm a tiny bit sunburnt.

On the bright side, I have got some work done today. Nice weather definitely makes life so much easier.
