Last night I let my hair down after a very stressful first week of university (making friends and getting lost is hard!), and went to see McFly in Glasgow's SECC.

They were amazing. Maybe one of the best concerts I've been to. They are so good at putting on a show. They just blew me away.

They went through all the favourites, Five Colours in her Hair, Obviously, That Girl, I'll Be Ok, and a few tracks from the new album - which, by the sound of things, is going to be utterly amazing. I can't wait for its release!

I was starting to have my doubts about McFly. Maybe they were just another boy band.

But they're not. They're so much more than that. They're brought pop back to life.

And I really love them for it.
