This time tomorrow, I'll be on a plane over the Atlantic. One word for that really - eeeeeeeee!!

So finally my Camp America adventure has arrived and I'm off to New York.

I'm terrified, I'm excited, and I'm still in disbelief that the day is nearly here. I can't wait to get on that plane and go off and have a summer to remember!

I will, of course, be sad to say goodbye. I'm really going to miss my mum, my dad and my brothers and the general nonsense which they spout. I'll miss my two very bests, the drunken disco-dancing, the rubbish-talking, the cinema-going, the cocktail-drinking, the ice cream-eating, the bitching, the moaning, the laughing at nothing - I'm starting to wonder why I'm leaving them behind...

I'll also miss Hollyoaks. I have this fear that I'll get home and not know what's going on. And Heat magazine, of course. And Grey's, and Heroes and late-night Sex and the City marathons. I'll miss my bed and my privacy and the chance to just do nothing.

And while I'm leaving so much behind, so much that I love, I'm getting a whooole lot in exchange. New York, New York. New friends. Lots of memories. A summer I'll never forget.

And now, I'll be off. I'm going to try blog when I can, no matter how brief. The words "oh", "my" and "God" will be frequent, I can feel it already.
